All-natural, wholesome, high in vitamins and fiber and low on fat and calories (While still very-very yummy!) Mmm!

A-ha! Caught ya! 🙂…As much as we all would love to impress Mom with a home-made dessert… (I know exactly how it feels: I remember as a kid I LOVED impressing my mom with my baking! Only… at first I was impressing her with the messes! 🙂 But… thank you Mom for letting me make these messes so that I can share my recipes with my readers today!)
…And every time I baked my reward was always the delight on my Mom’s face! And what can possibly compare to that! 🙂
But here’s the caveat: as busy adults, not all of us always have the time or the energy to make a complicated treat!
This is why I made sure to keep the ingredient list for these Cupcakes short and sweet…
And to make the baking and decorating process as easy and busy-schedule-friendly as possible!
Finally you can choose from two frosting options depending on what you have in your pantry and what sounds easier and more doable to you!
I say that the Frosting #1 is the easiest! At the same time you’d need to thaw out the whipped topping which may take some time. To make frosting #2 you’ll need to use an electric whisk to ensure that the mix is incorporated with your yogurt. But if you have an electric mixer in the house – the whipping process is as easy as pie! 🙂P.S.

Healthy Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes Recipe are low-calorie, all-natural, easy to make, yummy and delicious!
- 1 1/2 cup flour of choice I used white whole wheat
- 2/3 cup fructose sugar or 3/4 cup regular sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 1/3 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup apple sauce
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 cup fat-free True Whip* thawed out
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 packet vanilla instant pudding mix make sure to use the 4-serving size pudding mix
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar and baking powder.
Combine the egg whites, vanilla extract, apple sauce and yogurt and beat until fully incorporated.
Combine the dry and the wet mixtures. Mix together until incorporated.
Pour batter into the cupcakes moulds and bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
To make frosting#1 whip together the yogurt and the True Whip until fluffy.
To make frosting#1 whip together the yogurt and the pudding mix. Whip until fluffy.
*I usually look for the healthier variation of the "Cool Whip": the "True Whip" which is all-natural.
